Together We Build Bridges.

On Campuses, in Europe and in the World.

Political polarization and gridlock have impeded progress for too long. We are a global movement of students whose aim is to build bridges between citizens who have been geographically or ideologically divided for too long.

We are building a network of students and young citizens in Europe - and around the world - to come together and discuss the most pressing challenges of our time.

Our principles guide our actions - at our local student organizations and on the European level:

We champion ideological diversity, promote responsible and solution-oriented discourse and believe in a global mindset.

We Are A Global Movement.

On university campuses around Europe, the United States, and Africa, students are gathering around the idea that we are best equipped to solve the world’s most challenging problems if we stand together, listen to one another, show empathy, and find a way forward - together.

We are an internationally recognized non-profit organization promoting structural and cultural change. We’re in the media - and report on our own.

“Although still in the minority, a growing contingent of students from the left, right and center is ditching tactics that lead to internecine hostility in favor of talking with one another to build empathy. BridgeUSA and Sustained Dialogue are two prime examples of campus organizations committed to confronting political polarization.”

“The ideal college campus welcomes students from a range of ideological perspectives and offers opportunities for those students to come together to productively explore topics, problems, and questions. BridgeUSA (a partner of the organization I lead, Heterodox Academy), which already has chapters on over 25 campuses, is one leading student organization dedicated to facilitating constructive political discussion.”
